Job Purpose
Assist in preparing and cooking Arabic dishes to the highest standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Cook and present Arabic dishes following hotel standards.
- Station Management: Oversee designated kitchen section, maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Collaboration: Work with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and assist in training junior staff.
- Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet quality standards and proper portion control.
- Health & Safety: Follow hygiene and safety regulations, ensure kitchen cleanliness.
- Inventory: Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients.
- Menu Development: Contribute ideas for menu items and specials.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2-3 years in a kitchen, with at least 1 year specializing in Arabic cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Arabic cooking techniques and presentation.
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment.
