As Front Office Receptionist, We Rely On You To
- Be well versed with the daily arrival and the type of arrival guests, e.g., return guest, Shangri-La Circle, VIP
- Register all guests with required details and ensure all amenities are in room prior to guest arrival
- Always take the opportunity to exceed guest expectations
- Coordinate with the Bell desk and Concierge to assists guest with luggage upon check-in and checkout
- Check-in/check-out guests as per Shangri-La standards and procedures
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the reception
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, and forward incoming phone calls as required
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role in a luxury hotel or a 5* hotel environment
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fully understands room operations
- Communicates with fluency in English (and local language)
- Must be detail-focused and guest-oriented
- Enjoys problem solving with a can-do attitude
- Has strong interpersonal skills, solid written and verbal communication skills
- Takes pride in being a hotelier and enjoys interacting with people
